I am spraying KTM-9 with a big compressor and a finish HVLP gun. The coats are going on even but the don't seem to flow out any...it's almost like they are drying too fast! The humidity is 45% in my spray area. I'm using about 50lbs. of pressure. Help!!I'm between coats. Any suggestions or soulutions?? The texture is like fine sandpaper. It never looks wet while I'm spraying.

I had this happen, I opened up the nozzle that allowed more lacquer to come through and backed down my pressure to around 40lbs.
i also use a harbor fright touch up gun, 19.99 cheapy.

Hope this helps

I agree...get the pressure down. But, I don't think you would notice any issues once you sand it back and buff it out. You don't need a "wet" coat with ktm9.

I will try turning the pressure down and let you know the outcome.

Thanks
